Merrymount Properties Handyman Services is a subsidiary of Merrymount Properties LLC which provides property management services in eastern Massachusetts with a primary focus on one to four family homes. Our handyman services are available to property management clients, self managing investors and homeowners alike.

We strive to deliver timely, quality service at a reasonable price within the parameters given by the client. Most home repairs can be addressed by a qualified handyman at a fraction of the costs of trade specialists such as a carpenters, plumbers, electricians, contractors or remediation services at a fraction of their prices with the client benefit of possessing cross functional skillsets with a single point of contact. This saves time and money for tenants, owners and investors while addressing the issues at hand. If trade specialists are required to complete a specified task we can act as a project manager handling what is permitted while sourcing the minimal amount of specialized functions to vetted qualified professionals. This improves project coordination, reduces costs and wasted work while increasing transparency and reducing stress for the client. Don t We got this.

Rates
Our price structure was designed with the client, tenant and homeowner value in mind. On demand handyman & property management work requests have a $65 trip fee per call (within a 25 mile radius of Quincy, MA). This typically covers time, gas & material procurement. If the issue is quickly addressable this fee will serve as the base minimum. Most common jobs have an additional competitive flat rate line item fee per job typically considerably less than home services specialists such as a plumber, electrician or contractor. This approach ensures transparency with up front prices provided. We encourage clients to address multiple issues (punch lists) and issue types with a single visit to maximize cost effectiveness.
Typical high value multiple purpose visits include:

- Seasonal maintenance checklists

For jobs requiring more extensive custom estimates such as light remodels, visits can be arranged at no charge otherwise estimate review, material procurement and sourcing time is included at half the hourly billable rate. Commercial Property Managers requiring fixed bid estimates will be provided upon request with trip fee required.

- Toilet Rebuild – $75
- Toilet Replacement – $300 with toilet, $175 if labor & removal only
- Faucet /shower fixture replacement – $75 + fixture cost
- Light fixtures – $75 per fixture + fixture cost
- Small drywall repairs $75, medium $125, Large requires an estimate
- Interior painting $2 per sq foot (paint included with 100 sq foot min)
- Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detector replacement $50 plus unit costs ($75 if hard wired)
- Door shim/Hinge: $60, Install internal door with existing jam $125, install pre-hung $250
